IRON DEFECIENCY DURING PREGNANCY

QUERY ABOUT IRON DEFICIENCY:

gals nenu e roju regular checkup ki vellanu.antha bagane undi kani blood count taggutondi ani iron tabs vesukomandi doctor.so, e iron deficiency 7th monthlo commonena leka nake ila tagginda.naku ippude ituvanti problem.mundaranta bagane undi ani cheppindi.so,pls help me gals.and e blood count peragadaniki emi tinali kuda suggest cheyyandi.and by the way nenu vegetarian.i don't eat egg also.

ANSWERS:
Iron definceny chala common ...Even I had iron deficiency around 5-7 months loo anukunta ...So don't worry ..

Definitely if you take good food you come to normal ..But tablets kuda tessukovali . Some tips

1. Take your iron tablets with APPLE juice ..So iron baga absorb cheskuntadhi
2. Never take/or eat citric fruits (orange lemon etc ) immediately after taking iron tablets
3. Eat green leafy veggies mainly collards , bok choy , spinach , totakurra etc ....COLLARDS and bokchoy chala baga panichesthadhi for iron. Atleast 2 days ki oka sari leafy veggie tennu
4. Eat green veggies like broccoli, beans etc
5. Pomegranate juice ....taste bagoddu ..But one glass a day is good too

ANOTHER ANSWER:
I used to eat lot of fruits and Yogurt and also Kumkam puvvu is rich in iron anduke manali oka 2-3 petals vesukuni milklo taagamantaru, nenu na 4th month nunchi adi vesukunedani.
